UNIVERSAL POSTING TECHNOLOGY
Newton Running’s Universal Posting Technology is designed to accommodate runners who pronate, supinate and those with a neutral gait. This innovative midsole design features high-density X-shaped foam that supports both the medial and lateral sides of the foot. Working in conjunction with the Action/Reaction Technology and the Biomechanical Forefoot Top-plate, the Universal Posting Technology guides your foot down the center of the shoe. In the Newton Running shoes, the forefoot technology supports the bone structure of the forefoot ensuring even weight distribution and a solid platform for greater propulsion.
Considering the many variables such as bilateral asymmetry, terrain, fatigue and pace, individual running mechanics can be difficult to evaluate. The Universal Posting Technology takes the guesswork out of which type of shoe is best for your running gait. Even with custom orthotics, the Universal Posting Technology will keep you in a neutral position without sacrificing cushioning, flexibility or comfort.
Regardless of whether you pronate (roll to the inside), supinate (roll to the outside), or are truly neutral, the Universal Posting Technology offers the simplicity of support for every type of foot strike.
Newton Running is introducing the Universal Posing Technology in the Motion AW model. It will be incorporated in the women’s pink racer launching in spring, 2009. So, whether you wear the Gravity or the Motion, the Distance or the Distance S, the Universal Posting Technology offers the balance that brings you back to the centerline with each stride.
