Michael Simpson
"My Newtons have completely transformed my running. Four months ago I was the typical heel striker despite all attempts to get me on my toes. The Newtons now have me running on my forefoot and, most importantly, running faster than ever. Already this year I ran a personal road best and was over 3 minutes faster than in 2006. For me that's what matters most." - Michael Simpson
"This will be my third year running in Newtons. Not only have they transformed me into a faster and more efficient runner but they have kept me injury free. They are a true runner's shoe!" - Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson stormed onto the triathlon scene with his unexpected win at the 2005 LA Triathlon. Since that breakthrough performance, Michael remains as one the most versatile athletes with great results at races from Sprint up to Ironman 70.3 distance as well as XTERRA events. Michael has moved his focus to the Ironman 70.3 and Ironman distances this year. He looks to back up his 5th place finish at the 2006 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3, and have a strong performance at the Subaru Ironman Canada event in August.
Michael currently resides in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
